Day trip to Nara
Today we visted Nara and the famous Nara Park where deer roam freely.
| Shirley fed the deer, with special biscuits designed for their specific dietary needs. | |

| But some of the deer had designs of their own. One cheekily bit Shirley's bottom and another ate our map!! | |

| Todaiji, The worlds largest wooden building (even though it is two-thirds the size of the original which once stood there). The Buddha statue that it houses is Japan's largest. |
